Corporate Social Responsibility
Our Corporate Social Responsibility commitment focuses on achieving positive and sustainable outcomes in the communities where we operate, enabling our customers and communities to positively benefit from the positive social, diverse and environmental impact we create.
As a socially responsible business, Corporate Social Responsibility is at the core of our business ethos; we operate ethically, build positive relationships, deliver on our promises, and minimise our impact on the environment.
Our business values and operations are integrated to meet the expectations of our stakeholders. They include customers, employees, suppliers, the local community and the environment. Our social, economic and environmental responsibilities to these stakeholders are integral to our business. We operate with integrity and honesty to provide safe, sustainable working practices, all delivered to the highest technical standards.
We are a committed social value employer, committed to the delivery of economic, social and environmental initiatives and projects to achieve meaningful outcomes that maximise Social Value.

Our community-based activities range from sponsoring community initiatives and local sports clubs, improving community centres, delivering estate/community enhancements, employee volunteering and forging links with local schools and colleges.
Our annual charity is nominated by our employees, enabling us to support a cause close to our employees’ hearts. We report on our Social Value initiatives, allowing us to track our achievements and identify areas for improvement.
Visit our news page to see our fundraising activity across the year.
To support the local economy, we utilise local supply chains to create opportunities locally; creating opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises within our supply chain, including material suppliers and subcontractors.
Our employees receive competitive pay complemented by an excellent range of benefits and family-friendly practices including flexible working and work-life balance. We also offer a wide range of employee benefits including stakeholder pension, employee and dependents Healthshield health cash plan and wellness package, additional holidays based on length of service, and company sick pay. We are passionate about enhancing employees’ skills at all levels of our organisation. We provide continual opportunities for our employees to upskill and develop their skills, through our established relationships with local colleges and training providers.
